Winnipeg, MB - Infocorp announced today that, as part of a reorganization of senior management at SLMsoft.com Inc., the controlling shareholder of Infocorp, Malcolm Anderson, Chief Executive Officer and President of Infocorp, has resigned from both of his offices effective immediately in order to devote his full time and attention to his office as Executive Vice-President of Western Operation for SLMsoft.com. For the period until his successor has been chosen, the Board of Directors of Infocorp has appointed Dwayne Mathers to act as interim Chief Executive Officer and Michael Antonio to act as interim President of Infocorp. Infocorp has commenced the process of finding a permanent replacement for Mr. Anderson.
Mr. Mathers has served as an officer of SLMsoft.com since May 31, 1999 and is presently Vice-President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development with responsibilities for strategy development and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to joining SLMsoft.com, Mr. Mathers was a Senior Manager within Deloittes’ Consulting Toronto strategy practice (Braxton Associates). At Deloitte Consulting, Mr. Mathers specialized in market entry and corporate strategy for the financial services and e-commerce industries, and developed the United States market analysis for SLM. Prior to joining Deloitte Consulting, Mr. Mathers served in a number of management roles within the Canadian Standards Associations, including the International Secretariat for the ISO 9000 standards committees.
Until his appointment, Mr. Antonio held the position of Vice-President, Retail Division of Infocorp. Michael holds the Certified Computer Professional (CCP) designation from the Institute for the Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP). He has extensive Information Technology, General Business Management and Consulting experience in Government, and private industry during which time he also successfully led a number of large projects. Michael has held several senior management positions with EDS (leading the Delivery of a large Outsourcing Contract for the Government of Manitoba), as Director of Information Systems for the Department of Family Services, Government of Manitoba, National Systems Manager, Burns Meats Limited, and recently as Chief Information Officer for the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority before joining Infocorp.
